This Privacy Policy describes how woetter.com ("we", "Site"), maintained by Eduardo Wöetter, collects, uses and protects visitors' personal data, in compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The controller of the data processed by this Site is Eduardo Wöetter. Privacy contact: [email protected].

2. What data we collect

This Site does not require registration to read its content. The data processed is:

  • Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of access and referring page, collected through Google Analytics in aggregate form with IP anonymization, exclusively for audience statistics.
  • Preferences stored in your browser: preferred language (PT/EN), accessibility settings (font size, contrast, color inversion) and your cookie consent choice. These preferences are stored only on your device and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser data.
  • Data provided voluntarily: if you contact us by email, we will process your name, email address and message content solely to respond to your request.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies in two categories:

  • Essential: required for basic functionality (for example, remembering your language and your consent choice). They do not require consent, based on legitimate interest.
  • Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics (audience metrics) and Google AdSense (ad serving). These cookies are only activated after your consent in the notice shown on your first visit. You may refuse them and continue browsing normally.

To change your choice, delete this site's cookies in your browser and the consent notice will be shown again.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This Site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at How Google uses information from sites.

5. Affiliate programs

Some links on this Site are affiliate links (for example, from the Amazon Associates and Mercado Livre partner programs). If you buy through these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. As a participant in these programs, this Site earns from qualifying purchases. Affiliate links do not collect personal data through this Site; any processing carried out by the destination platforms is governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal data. Browsing data is processed by Google (Analytics and AdSense), which may process it on servers outside Brazil, subject to adequate safeguards.

7. Retention

Aggregate statistical data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics (26 months at most). Contact messages are kept only for as long as necessary to handle the request.

8. Your rights

You may request at any time: confirmation that processing takes place; access to your data; rectification; anonymization, blocking or erasure; portability; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent. To exercise your rights, write to [email protected]. Brazilian users may also petition the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD); EU users may contact their local supervisory authority.

9. Security

We adopt technical and administrative measures to protect the data processed, including HTTPS and data minimization — this Site does not use a user database and does not store visitor data on its own server.

10. Children

The content of this Site is aimed at adults interested in marketing and business and does not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated at any time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
